For some reason, I've taken a sudden interest in doing puzzles. Maybe it has something to do with the puzzles Mom keeps loaning me. :-) Or maybe it has something to do with keeping a
little bit of a connection with Bessie. She had become the resident puzzle queen at Millcreek Retirement and we talked about puzzles quite often during my last few visits with her.

Whatever the reason, there has been a puzzle in our front room at some stage of development for the last several weeks.
One day I had just started one when Ken came home from work. He sat right down and started working with me and I couldn't get him to stop, even for dinner. When we went to bed that night, it was complete! :-)
On Easter Sunday at Mom's, we even worked on one there!A couple of weeks ago Aaron and Emma were visiting for a couple of days. I had a new ice cream puzzle that was designed for both kids and grownups with both big and little pieces so everyone can work on the puzzle at the same time. Aaron likes puzzles and is good at putting them together. In fact, he stuck with me until almost the very end!
This last week Mom, Linda and I took a little trip to Idaho. We stayed with Turley and during our four day stay, we completed three puzzles. :-) In fact, the last night we stayed up until 11:30 pm trying to finish one while we each repeatedly commented that we really needed to go to bed!
Since I've actually never been that fond of puzzles, this new phenomenon in my life is actually a little puzzling! :-) Regardless of the reason, stop by any time and you can help me put together my latest!
Lots of love to you all!

Aaron really loves to put things to together - much like his father. Puzzles are a fav of his. When I was at Target the other day I picked up two 100 piece puzzles from the dollar bins, thinking he would definitely enjoy these after what you told me about the ice cream puzzle. He loved them! One was a spider the other a close up of a yellow jacket. Bugs and Puzzles - perfect for my little guy.
11:30 pm.? Boy, aren't you a bunch of rebels! :)
I'm glad you have some recent pictures of Bessie. I was thinking of that the other day and wondered if any were taken.
We've just got to do it again. We had more great conversations than we've had in a long time. I'm glad you went and I love the others too.
Love,
Linda
This is all so very puzzling to me! haha
