Spring Break for Grandmas

With everyone sharing their fun Spring Break experiences, we Grandmas (Mom, Linda, Turley & I) were not to be outdone! We, too, enjoyed the transition from winter into spring with a short trip down to Southern Utah. Our route took us through Nephi as well as Richfield. Actually, Richfield was an unscheduled side trip! (In other words, we got lost!) :-) Fortunately, the detour was not a long one and we soon found the road we were supposed to be on. After a very scenic ride, we arrived in Boulder, Utah (yes, Utah, not Colorado) where we visited with Mom's cousin, Bertha, and her children. They were very gracious and we had a great time. The following day we moved on to Bryce Canyon with its incredible red landscapes. Since there was still snow on the ground at Bryce, we were very glad we'd taken jackets and scarves!

So in spite of a few gray hairs (actually, more than a few) we Grandmas know how to have fun, too!

Lots of love to you all!

I think that we grandmas have more fun than anyone else. We have learned to cope with all the detours of life and take them in stride.

I'm glad you had such a good time!
