Thanksgiving Day Fun!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! Great food - great company - and great fun! This year was no exception, although there were a few glitches here and there. For example:

(1) Peeling 30 lbs. of frozen potatoes! (Our home grown potatoes had frozen solid in our shed!) You can't imagine how cold they were! It was like peeling ice cubes!

(2) Making a dozen calls to Linda (who was making her fruit salad at home) for everything that had been forgotten. I think she came and finished her salad at the church just so she didn't have to answer the phone!

(3) Or trying to find a potato masher in the many jumbled drawers.

(4) etc., etc., etc.

(5) And last, but certainly not least . . . trying to figure out who was actually going to eat all the pie! (There were at least 15 or more!)

Regardless, I was reminded yet again how grateful I am for my family! (We missed all you Idahoans who were snowed in!)

Here's a few pictures of the final Jenga challenge!

Lots of love to you all!
